Autumn season opening with mythologies and recordings

After successful performance at Konrad Max Kunz Tage festival in Germany and Prague Conservatory “flute day” we are aproaching a short period of individual projects and looking forward to see our audience after the summer hollidays again.

The autumn season beginns for us with the performance for St. Wenceslas festivities inspired by the antique mythology, followed by recording of a selection of Benda’s symphonies for the Czech Radio. Currently we are also preparing an iteresting not-exactly-traditional Christmas programme.

Looking forward to the next musical adventures, we wish a sunny summer to you!

Filming a costume show

Ensemble 18+ partecipated in role of Schwarzenberg’s musicians in an unique project – a reconstruction of Giuseppe Scarlatti’s opera Dove é amore, é gelosia, written 250 years ago for the countess of Schwarzenberg. Filming and recording of the musical part in Prague and in baroque theatre in Český Krumlov proceeded after several months of musicological work under the baton of Vojtěch Spurný and under the direction of Ondřej Havelka, with Czech television as coproduction partner.
